Anyone who's anyone will be up on the wall and Walliams will hold court in a contest that finds out which team has their finger on the pulse of pop culture.
He commented: "I'm looking forward to taking control of the Wall of Fame, my new weekly, newsy, quizzy, gossipy entertainment show. This may not be hard news but I shall nevertheless be taking my quiz master role most seriously... with lots of laughter."
Joining David on Wall Of Fame will be series regulars Jack Dee, Andrew Maxwell, Tamara Ecclestone and Kate Garraway. Each week they'll be joined by two guests to complete their teams of three.
Kate Garraway and Andrew Maxwell pair up on one team. Kate, no stranger to discussing the latest celebrity gossip having interviewed some of the biggest names in showbusiness, commented: "In my day job I spend my life interviewing all the people who have made the headlines so I keep a keen eye on the news. David is going to be a great host and I am looking forward to joining my other panellists to talk about all the faces who have made the stories that week."
Fast paced, internationally renowned Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell will be bringing his quick witted 'A game' to dissect each week's news headlines, he said: "As a news bug myself, I am really looking forward to sitting on a panel week in and week out with British comedy giants David and Jack and discussing all the week's news and gossip. It's a really exciting show and I'm delighted to be part of it"
The opposing team will be made up of model and television presenter Tamara Ecclestone and the nation's favourite dead-pan comic Jack Dee. More used to being written about, in Wall Of Fame Tamara and Jack will be turning the tables and commenting on who else has joined them in being the talk of the town that week.
Tamara remarked: "I'm so thrilled to have been asked to be a regular panellist on Wall Of Fame. I'm a huge fan of David Walliams and working with him on the show is so exciting. Everyone needs to laugh so tune in every Friday!"
Jack Dee said: "I shall be bringing my usual blend of warmth and fun to the show and I can scotch the rumour here and now that I am David Walliams' new bitch. I think Wall Of Fame will be must see television and for once in my life for the right reasons."
